Ingredients:

1 pound pasta
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3 cups milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Directions:

1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.

2. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper until mixture is smooth. Gradually whisk in milk. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in cheese and parsley until cheese is melted. Drain pasta and serve with sauce.
