Ingredients
2 cups (250 grams) all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon (4 grams) instant or rapid-rise yeast
1 teaspoon (6 grams) salt
1 tablespoon (15 grams) olive oil or vegetable oil
1 cup (240 grams) water, at room temperature
Directions
1. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook, combine the flour, yeast, and salt. With the mixer on low speed, slowly add the oil and water and mix until the dough comes together, about 5 minutes.
2. Increase the speed to medium and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.
3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, turning to coat, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
4. Preheat the oven to 475 degrees F (245 degrees C).
5. Punch the dough down and divide it into 2 equal parts. Roll each part into a 12-inch-long rope. Make a U-shape with the ropes and press the ends together to form a pizza.
6. Place the pizza on a greased baking sheet and let rise for 10 minutes.
7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
