Ganth Gobhi ki Sabji is a popular North Indian dish made with small, round cauliflowers called “Ganth Gobhi”. Here is a simple recipe to make it at home:
Ingredients:
– 500 gm Ganth Gobhi (small round cauliflower)
– 1 Onion, chopped
– 1 Tomato, chopped
– 3-4 Garlic cloves, chopped
– 1 tsp Cumin seeds
– 1 tsp Turmeric powder
– 1 tsp Red chilli powder
– 1 tsp Coriander powder
– Salt to taste
– 2 tbsp Oil
– Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
1. Clean and wash the Ganth Gobhi thoroughly. Cut into small pieces and keep aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them crackle.
3. Add chopped garlic and sauté for a minute.
4. Add chopped onions and sauté till they turn translucent.
5. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
6. Add the chopped Ganth Gobhi and mix well. Cover with a lid and cook on medium flame for 5-7 minutes.
7. Check if the Ganth Gobhi is cooked properly. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
